BMEP582040S – Modicon M580 – Safety CPU – 8/2 MB Memory – 8 X80 RIO Stations

This standalone safety processor is part of the Modicon M580 range, a family of Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs) and Safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) with integrated Ethernet. This product supports a maximum of 4 local racks and 8 remote racks, with up to 10,240 discrete I/O channels and 2,560 analog I/O channels.

This safety product is conformal coated and is compatible with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +60°C / -13°F to 140°F.

The CPU must be installed in the rack positions marked 00 and 01, using 2 screws on the top of the CPU to secure the module to the rack.

This product can be used with Modicon X80 modules (I/O, backplane, cable) and operates with EcoStruxure Control Expert programming software.
